Chengdu, home of the Giant Panda and once marked the starting point of the old southern Silk a cultural, economic and social hub of Western China. Chengdu is the capital of China's Sichuan Province, Located in West China, Chengdu is the starting point for many wonderful excursions into Western Sichuan and The Tibetan Plateau. With direct flights to France, Germany (Frankfurt), UK (Heathrow) and U.S. (San Francisco) it is everyday becoming a more and more influential place, drawing attention away from the East coast cities, seen by the recent G20 financial summit held here in July 2016.   

This famous saying is surely due to the relaxed, outdoor and sociable lifestyle that Chengdu is famed for across China. Despite being a huge metropolis with almost 15 million inhabitants it maintains a charm up-and-coming cities. it being voted China’s most livable city


Golden sun bird

In 2011, the city of Chengdu selected the Golden Sun Bird as the design . It’s a ring-shaped piece of foil, made of nearly pure gold. The pattern consists of four birds, flying in the same 

counterclockwise direction, located around the perimeter. The center is a sun pattern with twelve points. It is 12.5 cm in diameter, with a 5.29 cm inner diameter. It has a thickness of 0.02 cm, and weighs 20 grams. The piece is from the late Shang Dynasty (1000--1200 BC)

Wenshu Monastery was  oringinal built 1,400 years ago, in 1681, Cidu an accomplished Buddhist monk came to the temple. He built a simple hut between two  trees  and  for several years lived an ascetic life there.According to legend when Cidu was meditated, the statue of Wensu (Bodhisattva Manjusriin Sanskritappeared in the flames,staying for a long time.So people regarded  Cidu  as the reincarnation of  the Bodhisattva Manjusri  (Wenshu in Chinese). Thereafter, the temple began to be called "Wenshu Monastery"In addition to its cultural relics, Wenshu Monastery is famous for its exquisite garden and solemn halls. Tourists and locals can also enjoy vegetarian food in the Buddhist Restaurant while listening to music by folk artists                                                                                                                                                                                  Chengdu Panda Base  

Sichuan Province is home to China’s giant pandas, The best place to view pandas is the Chengdu Research Center of Giant Panda Breeding, located about 10 kilometers from downtown. A good tour guide should be able to lead you through the meandering paths and directly to the panda enclosures.

8:30 am--1:00 pm Chengdu Panda Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

Greeted by your guide at hotel lobby,  hop in your car head straight to the world famous Panda Breeding and Research Centre which  lies on the outskirts  of the city, walk through the meandering paths and directly to  the panda  enclosures to see the different stages of  a giant panda’s life,  from baby to young adult

Drive back to city, a specil Buddhist meal will be arranged in a old monastery.          

1:00--7:00 pm    Wenshu Temple,  Jinsha Relic Museum

Hop back the car,  continue to Jinsha  Relic Museum ,where you'll impressed by the great civilization of ancient Shu kingdom.Jinsha site wasa thriving  settlement date back 2300--3000 years ago. learn from your guide how the thriving ancient Shu kingdom orginate, devolop, and decline

Take a stroll along the old cobbled streets of Wide &Narrow Alley (aka Kuanzhai Alley). the whole 3 Alley packed with stalls and  boutiques sell  local  and souvenir etc.  Dinner on the Alley on your own.  

7:00-9:00 pm  Chunxi Road--City River Park--Anshun Bridge

In the evening, Chunxilu area comes  Valive with  the buzz  of  cafes, restaurants and departmentshop, from   there  we  gonna walk along the city river to see The well-known Anshun Bridge (also known as “Marco Polo” Bridge) spans the Jinhe River,  a cup of beer or cocktail will pull off our tour.
